Young Spark Award

The award was set up in memory of John Young, MD of WWAV Rapp Collins Edinburgh, who died in 2005, aged 38. John was a very enthusiastic direct marketer. His energy and drive took him from launching Microsoft UK to setting up Claydon Heeley’s Asian operation.

Congratulations to Ben Knighton from RMG Connect, who was announced winner of the Young Spark Award 2007 at the DMA Scotland Ball on Friday 9 November. Ben was presented with the award and certificate by David Metcalfe, vice chair of the DMA UK.

The judges this year felt the standard of finalists was so high they awarded the other five finalists with commendations.
