Introduction

DMA Scotland covers the regional areas of Scotland, North East England and Northern Ireland, representing the membership at a local level.
|
|
Yvonne Balfour Chair, DMA Scotland Council |
The regional office was set up in 1994, and has always been supported by a very enthusiastic and committed Council, which represents a good cross section of the direct marketing industry.
To date, a regular programme of events has enabled the direct marketing community to network, but also offered education and information relevant to their business.
The Council has established itself as an authoritative source of information and comment on the use and benefit of direct marketing in the geographical area. It has also forged links with key business influencers and other local trade bodies and associations. |
The Council welcomes member input on all regional and national issues. We always welcome suggestions for event ideas, speakers, PR opportunities, research and event sponsorship.
DMA Scotland is well represented on the UK DMA Board. David Metcalfe is vice chair of the DMA Board, and Gillian Lyall, Yvonne Balfour and Jan Morris sit on the board, representing the region at a national level.
